Dr. Jeff Jacobson

Dr. J grew up in Norfolk, NE and is a 1988 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in Lincoln since1988. In September 2001, he and his wife, Pam opened their own Small Animal Clinic, The Jacobson Veterinary Clinic

Dr. J & Pam have a daughter, Jessica and son Sim as well as a few terriers and a cat!

Dr. Elisa Salas
 
Dr. Elisa Salas graduated from Cornell University in 2004 where she met her husband, a Nebraska native.  She practiced in upstate New York for 4 years.  She worked in both mixed animal practice and then small animal practice.  She and her husband moved to Nebraska in 2008.  She works part time at Jacobson Veterinary Clinic and full time as a resident in veterinary pathology at the state diagnostic laboratory at UNL.  Her job with the university also enables her to teach veterinary students.  She enjoys bicycling, hiking, gardening, canning, Husker football, getting kisses and head rubs from her patients and is an avid quilter.  Her professional interests include dog obedience, preventative medicine, and outbreak investigation. She and her husband have two cats, Piper and Beaker.  She is expecting her first child this fall.

Tricia Stanczyk

Office Manager

Tricia joined the clinic in April 2002 as the Office Manager. Tricia and her husband Russ live on 40 acres near Seward, Nebraska with their 4 "kids". The "kids" consist of Icon, an English Setter, Stuart, Greta & Einstein all Parson Russell Terriers. Outside of work, Tricia enjoys showing her terriers in AKC Conformation shows as well as attending antique auctions!

Paula Bowers

Paula has been employed with the Jacobson Veterinary Clinic for 5 years after spending 5 years as an assistant at a veterinary clinic in Topeka, Kansas. She lives in Lincoln with her three Papillons, Spot, Sonnie and Q; spending her free time training and showing Sonnie and Q  in agility. She also enjoys doing custom artwork of other people's pets and working out in her yard.

Lisa Gaede

Lisa graduated in 2002 from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture with an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.  After practicing as a licensed veterinary technician at a small animal clinic in North Platte, Ne for 6 years, Lisa joined Jacobson Veterinary Clinic in 2008.  Her special areas of interest include veterinary dentistry and obedience/behavior.  Lisa enjoys travel, anything outdoors, and spending free time with her horse, Bohannan, her dogs, Gizmo and Oakie, her cat, Anakin, and her ferret, Ricki.

My name is Cat. I moved here to Lincoln in October of 2009 from St. Louis, Missouri. I went to Vet Tech school at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri and I graduated from the program in May of 2009. I have about two years of vet tech experience under my belt and I don't plan on quitting anytime soon. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets! See you at the clinic!

Chelsea Paul
 
Chelsea grew up in Papillion, NE. She is currently working on a bachelor's degree at UNL in Veterinary Medicine and hopes to attend veterinary school when she graduates. She grew up loving and taking care of all types of animals, including volunteering at the Henry Doorly Zoo. She currently owns 1 cat and 2 dogs.
